What this build is good for
This high-performance gaming PC utilizes the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X and the RX 9060 XT 16GB, providing a strong foundation for 1440p gaming and everyday productivity. The ASRock B850 LiveMixer motherboard offers extensive USB connectivity, making it ideal for streamers and users with numerous peripherals. Housed in the NZXT S5 RGB case, the build features efficient airflow and generous component clearance. While the Silicon Power UD90 SSD is a capable budget option, it is a DRAM-less drive, which may impact sustained write-intensive tasks. The system is well-balanced for current-generation titles, relying on the power-efficient Zen 5 architecture and RDNA 4 graphics. Ensure the motherboard BIOS is updated to support the Ryzen 9000 series for optimal stability.
- DRAM-less SSD performance in heavy write scenarios
- Unspecified RAM kit performance profile (EXPO)
- Ambiguous PSU model series

Useful next steps
BIOS Update
Ensure the ASRock B850 motherboard is updated to the latest AGESA version to guarantee full compatibility and stability with the Ryzen 9000 series processor.
SSD Upgrade
Consider a drive with dedicated DRAM (e.g., PCIe 4.0 with DRAM cache) if the PC will be used for heavy video editing or large file transfers, as the UD90 is a DRAM-less model.
PSU Verification
Confirm the 'be quiet' power supply is an 80 Plus Gold rated unit from a reliable series to ensure system longevity and safety.
