What this build is good for
This high-end enthusiast PC features the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 within an E-ATX ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E platform. It is engineered for extreme 4K gaming, AI local processing, and intensive creative workloads. The system includes a massive 20TB NVMe storage array, highlighting its capability as a professional workstation. A bespoke BRO COOLING open-loop system provides custom thermal management, which defines the build's 'showpiece' aesthetic. While performance is top-tier, the system is overkill for general everyday use and requires significant maintenance expertise due to the custom liquid loop. Users must be prepared for the complexities of hardline water cooling, potential coil whine common in high-performance GPUs, and the physical demands of the massive 20.8kg ROG Hyperion chassis.
- Custom loop maintenance and potential leakage risks
- Audible coil whine prevalent in high-end GPU models
- Large physical footprint of the Hyperion GR701 chassis

Useful next steps
Water Cooling Maintenance
Custom open loops require bi-annual inspection and periodic coolant flushing to prevent leaks or clogs.
Display Matching
The RTX 5090 requires a high-refresh-rate 4K or 8K monitor to avoid significant frame rate bottlenecks.
Power Monitoring
Utilize ASUS GPU Tweak III to monitor 12V-2x6 rail stability for safe operation of high-power components.
